On July 23, Manchester United was invited to play at the Venetian Macau - "The Venetian Macau Cup", a soccer match between Manchester United against the Chinese Super League’s Shenzhen Football Club, after their first stop in Tokyo against the Urawa Red Diamonds on July 17, and South Korea on July 20. This will be the first ever appearance for Manchester United in Macau and their only appearance in China with their Asia Tour 2007.

Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo, Ryan Giggs and three others scored as Manchester United take a victory over the Chinese side Shenzhen Xiangxue Eisiti by 6-0.
