CotaiJet will add a new route to Kowlooon in Hong Kong 金珠船務開通尖沙咀氹仔客運航線 (金珠船务开通尖沙咀氹仔客运航线)

CotaiJet - the ferry service run by Las Vegas Sands Corp, which bring customers to Macau from Hong Kong, has been granted a new license and additional routes. The ferry will add a new route to its schedule linking Taipa to the China Ferry Terminal, located in Kowloon, Hong Kong.

According to Sands China, the route will be in service from February 7 onwards, with three round trips every day connecting Taipa and Kowloon.

Licenses for five companies running 14 ferry routes between Macau, Hong Kong and Guangdong province have received government approval, the Maritime Administration (CP) announced on January.


由金珠船務運營和管理的金光飛航獲港務局發出定期海上客運准照及6條航線許可, 2月7日起將開通九龍中國客運碼頭至澳門氹仔客運碼頭航線。 這是政府實行海上客運准照及航線許可新法規後首家船公司開通的新航線。

自政府於2009年11月頒佈海上客運法規, 實施定期海上客運准照及航線許可新制度, 多家輪渡運營商加入申請, 並於1月初批出多份准照和航線許可。

金光飛航即將首先開通九龍中國客運碼頭至澳門氹仔客運碼頭航線。 金光渡輪有限公司負責人介紹, 剛獲批的九龍中國客運碼頭至澳門氹仔客運碼頭航線初期每天對開3個航班 - 即中國客運碼頭於每天8時、9時半及11時開出3個航班, 澳門氹仔客運碼頭於每天12時半、15時及17時半開出3個航班。 航線票價與來往中環港澳碼頭的航班票價一致。 同時，金光飛航同時將視市場情況適時申請增開航班, 加密班次。

現時於氹仔客運碼頭營運中的航線分別有往返香港港澳碼頭、香港機場海天碼頭、江門港澳碼頭，以及深圳蛇口的航線, 加上即將開航的往返香港中國客運碼頭的航線, 氹仔客運碼頭的對外海上客運航線將增至5條。

Macau Dragon offer ferry service between Hong Kong and Macau first half of 2009 巨龍船務有信心上半年開航 (巨龙船务有信心上半年开航)

A new start-up ferry company - Macau Dragon Company Limited, a subsidiary of Giant Dragon Sea Transportation Company will be offering services between the Hong Kong Macau Ferry Terminal in the first half of 2009. There was no indication of commencement date.

The Macau Dragon fleet consists of 4 vessels, one of the vessel has already arrived in Hong Kong. Each of the vessels can accommodate up to 1,200 passengers. It will be operate the same route as the CotaiJet service from HK Macau Ferry Terminal on Hong Kong Island to Pac On Temporary Pier on the Cotai Strip in Macau.


巨龍船務股份有限公司透露已全部完成香港的審批程序, 有信心2009年上半年開航。 但沒有具體時間表。 正等候澳門政府最後審批。 澳門港務局稱特區政府會審慎審批巨龍航線, 隨著社會變化及經濟高速發展, 未來海上客運航線的審批會從公衆安全角度考慮。 現階段不可能引入太多航線, 待2012年氹仔北安永久碼頭落成啟用後便能容納更多航線。

巨龍表示雖然遇上金融海嘯, 仍對港澳海上客運市場有信心, 因此希望可以盡快開航帶動澳門的經濟發展。 目前巨龍已購入4艘, 載客量為1200人的客船經營港澳航線, 其中一艘已運抵香港。

The Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal now serves as the major terminal for Macau's passenger traffic by sea. All the route is served by high speed catamarans and jetfoils with the journey takes approximately one hour. At present, all the ferry the services are operated by TurboJET and New World First Ferry Macau. A temporarily ferry terminal, which is adjacent to the Macau International Airport in Cotai is now complete, some of the passenger traffic by sea will be diverted to this new facility in order to solve the overcrowded problems. A new terminal which is under construction now and upon completion probably in early 2009.

There are two small container port facility in Macau - Macau Container Port and Kai Ho Oil Port, which both are located at Coloane. Macau Container Port is undergoing an expansion for its 2nd phase.

澳門現有兩間船公司提供每天來往港澳兩地之航班，分別為噴射飛航及新渡輪(澳門)。噴射飛航的航班主要來往澳門新港澳碼頭到上環港澳碼頭、尖沙咀中港碼頭或香港國際機場, 新渡輪(澳門)只提供來往澳門新港澳碼頭和尖沙咀中港碼頭之航線。

澳門共有四個主要港口，分別是內港碼頭(位於澳門半島的西面), 外港碼頭(新港澳碼頭位於澳門半島東面), 北安客運碼頭(新港澳碼頭), 九澳港(亦稱深水港, 位於路環島的東北面的深水港，澳門貨櫃碼頭的所在地。) 鄰近澳門國際機場的氹仔北安碼頭於2007年10月16日開幕。由於碼頭仍在建設，所以碼頭首兩年是以臨時方式來營運。臨時碼頭設有三個泊位, 由兩間公司經營金光噴射飛航 Cotai Jet 及 巨龍渡輪。 計劃中航線包括北安至香港上環港澳碼頭。

The second ferry terminal opened on Taipa 氹仔北安臨時客運碼頭落成 (氹仔北安临时客运码头落成)

Macau’s second ferry terminal was opened Tuesday. The new terminal on Taipa is being built to receive boats with up to 1,200 passengers and the existing facility can deal with boats with capacity for up to 400 people. Currently there aren't any jets coming into operation yet. There are two companies to operate in this new Taipa ferry terminal, Dragão Gigante Transportes Marítimos, a Hong Kong-Macau consortium and Cotai Water Jets Macau, part-owned by the Las Vegas Sands casino group. This new terminal was built because due to the sharp increase in visitors and congestion at the existing terminal.

This new ferry terminal will be fully operational in 2009 and location of this terminal is close to the Macau’s international airport, next to the famous Cotai Strip.

According to Macauhub, the total visitor numbers arriving by sea in the first eight months of 2007 reach 5.754 million, up 14.6 percent in a year-on-year comparison. A total of 318,826 visitors arrived at Macau’s interior port, 53.7 percent of these from mainland China.

於2007年10月16日落成啟用的「北安臨時客運碼頭」主要是為了滿足路氹城的旅遊發展需要和考慮到外港客運碼頭的承接能力已經飽和。臨時碼頭的某些設施，日後將成為氹仔（北安）客運碼頭的永久利用部分。當中部份「北安臨時碼頭」設施將繼續用於2009年落成的北安客運碼頭。

北安臨時客運碼頭設有一座出入境大廳，出入境檢查櫃位各二十個，可容納同時一千二百人出入境三個泊位，兩個四百人客船泊位和一個一千二百人的客船泊位。

客運碼頭位於澳門氹仔北安新填海區, 預計整體工程於2009年竣工。總造價兩億一千八百萬元。北安客運碼頭提供來往澳門至香港、珠三角地區之高速客輪服務。

New ferry terminal to boost airport 澳門新渡輪碼頭 (澳门新渡轮码头)

According to one of the aviation executives, Taipa Island’s new ferry terminal will provide a big boost to traffic through Macau International Airport since the terminal location is very close to the airport.

The government last month awarded a 499.8 million pataca (HK$485.2 million) contract for the terminal’s construction to consortium between China Road & Bridge and local companies Sociedade de Construcoes e Fomento Predial de Macau and Obras de Construcao Wa Kin over 15 rival bids.

The terminal, targeted to open late 2007, will feature 8 ship berths. It will be 4 fewer than the existing Hong Kong ferry terminal on the Macau peninsula. No route plans are set at the moment.
