China Unicom launches 3G service 中國聯通開通澳門3G業務 (中国联通开通澳门3G业务)

China Unicom Group, the parent company of Hong Kong-listed China Unicom Ltd has launched its 3G mobile phone service in Macau. The 3G mobile services features high-speed data transmissions that can allow users to watch videos, play 3D games, and conduct video conferences. Until today, China Unicom is the only CDMA provider in Macau and another license will be bid by four rivals based on Europe's WCDMA technology.

經過近一年第三代移動通信（3G）網路建設和業務開發，中國聯通日前正式開通在澳門的3G業務，用戶在手機通話外，還可以在手機獲得上網（WAP）、流動電視、萬能下載和無線上網等四項服務。
