Linkin Park have chosen local band 'Scamper' to play the opening act for their concert, which will be stage at the Venetian CotaiArena on 16th August. This will be a very first time a local Macanese band to have the opportunity and play at the Venetian's Arena.

Scamper is a Macau band formed in 2006. Players includes Jun & Ding on the guitar, EL on the drums, Raiden on the bass and Angus as the main vocalist. The new member Eric is on the keyboard. All members came from different bands and diverse music styles - pop, rock and metal. But when the band was formed, they started to write new songs, discovering their own style. Now they combine music they love, specially emo, punk and rock, expressing their feelings through their songs, and sincerely hoping that people enjoy their music.

alivenotdead.com和澳門威尼斯人度假村酒店宣佈, 澳門本地流行樂隊Scamper被林肯公園選為優勝樂隊, 樂隊將成為林肯公園演唱會的開場樂隊。

今次共有21支樂隊報名參與比賽, 最後由林肯公園從得票最多的5支入圍樂隊中選出優勝者。 結果澳門的Scamper被林肯公園選為優勝樂隊, Scamper將為林肯公園登上舞臺, 在座無虛席的觀眾前作30分鐘的開場演出。 這也是澳門本地樂隊首次在威尼斯人渡假村酒店演出。

熱愛金屬音樂的Scamper成立於2006年, 於澳門音樂祭《HUSH!! FULL BAND 馬拉松搖滾音樂祭2008》「最具人氣」之本地樂隊選舉。 並以最高票數成為全場樂迷心目中最受歡迎的樂隊之一。 Scamper成員分別有結他手Jun和Ding, 鼓手EL, 低音結他手Raiden, 主音Angus, 還有新加入的鍵盤手Eric。 當樂隊組成之前, 所有成員都來自不同音樂方格的樂隊, 例如： pop、rock和metal, 當Scamper組成之後便漸漸地定下了音樂風格和開始創作音樂。 Scamper的音樂風格混合了各成員喜歡的元素如emo、punk、搖滾等。 Scamper希望透過自己的音樂來表達態度和意見, 當然, 更希望聽衆們喜歡他們的音樂。
