Shun Tak to build 'Jumeirah Macau Hotel' at Cotai, managed by Dubai Jumeirah Group 信德集團計劃在路氹建頂級酒店Jumeirah Macau Hotel, 由迪拜政府旗下的Jumeirah集團管理

Jumeirah Group - Dubai based luxury hotel group and operator of the world famous Burj Al Arab hotel, will open its first hotel in Macau at 2013. This will be the one of the first Jumeirah hotel in the Asia Pacific Region.

Jumeirah Group has signed a management agreement and appointed by Shun Tak Group, to manage this prominent and prestigious new five-star deluxe hotel at Cotai Strip. The new hotel will enjoy a spectacular view of the Macau Dome. The hotel is still subject to approval by the Macau authorities, which will takes about 4 months.

"Macau has a rich and unique heritage of Asian and European influences, and the Jumeirah Macau Hotel will certainly be a perfect addition to our international portfolio of hotels and resorts, in line with our promise to STAY DIFFERENT," explained Gerald Lawless, Executive Chairman of Jumeirah Group.

何鴻燊旗下的信德集團12月2日公布路氹新酒店計劃, 集團宣布委任一家大型酒店管理集團營運及管理。

替信德集團管理路氹酒店的財團是迪拜政府旗下的Jumeirah集團, 行政主席Gerald Lawless今天更會與信德集團董事總經理何超瓊簽署合作協議作為酒店的管理及營運品牌。

今次用於興建路氹新酒店「頂級酒店」的土地, 鄰近「澳門蛋」東亞運動場, 建築樓面不多於200萬平方呎。 地皮由信德及澳門娛樂分別擁有80%及20%權益。 Jumeirah Macau Hotel計劃於2013年竣工。 項目重點以發展優閒及商務會議業務為主, 並非以博彩項目為主。 項目會包括５星級酒店及服務式住宅, 未設有賭場等設施。 在周邊的發展預期, 會有其他賭場包括MGM賭場。

信德集團希望借助經營迪拜「帆船酒店」的Jumeirah Group經驗開拓澳門全新旅遊酒店業務。 有關酒店項目仍處向政府申請階段, 目前未定具體投資金額及規模。 項目料最快要4個月才有結果。

迪拜政府旗下的Jumeirah集團旗下的管理酒店包括全球馳名著名地標的迪拜帆船酒店。 Jumeirah集團在世界各地興建中的項目多達18個, 澳門將會成為集團旗下中國第2間Jumeirah酒店。
