"Poker King" Movie Press Conference was held at Macau StarWorld Hotel and Casino on the 24th April. Hong Kong stars Sean Lau, Louis Koo, Cherrie Ying and Josie Ho attended the event and met the press.

They were playing with each other at Texas Hold’em Poker during the press conference to practice their card skills.

Texas Hold’em Poker is one of the most popular poker game in the casinos and poker card rooms, especially popular in across North America and Europe.


由太陽城集團及中國星聯合出品, 以現時歐美及亞洲地區極為流行的「德州撲克」(Texas Hold’em Poker)為主題的電影《撲克王》。 4月24日於澳門星際酒店舉行電影發布會。 導演陳慶嘉、秦小珍, 監制錢小蕙聯同眾演員包括劉青雲、古天樂、何超儀、應採兒、谷祖琳及KAMA一同會見傳媒。 眾演員更即席示範德州撲克遊戲的玩法為即將開拍的《撲克王》熱身。 《撲克王》將由錢小蕙監製, 並由陳慶嘉執導。 導演陳慶嘉表示《撲克王》是一部介紹「德州撲克」遊戲的電影, 同時旁及澳門的博彩娛樂事業。

劉青雲及古天樂將在《撲克王》中飾演兩大撲克高手, 他們為了爭奪王者寶座, 有多場激烈的對戰場面。 而何超儀則飾演女賭王, 在戲內擁有一個龐大的博彩業王國。 鄧麗欣則擺脫一貫清純形象扮演嗜賭女人一角。 至於應採兒就扮演顛到眾生的網上撲克女神。 而谷祖琳和Kama則分別飾演保鑣和派牌員。

「德州撲克」被視為一種有益身心與鬥智鬥力的運動項目, 在外國經已發展了幾十年, 世界各地經常舉行比賽較量。
