Global Gaming Expo Asia (G2E Asia) 2009 - 亞洲國際博彩博覽會6月舉行 (亚洲国际博彩博览会6月举行)

Macau Business CEO, partner of G2E Asia Expo, announced that Macau gaming industry pioneer Stanley Ho has been awarded with the G2E Asia Visionary Award. This year, the Global Gaming Expo Asia will take place between June 2-4, at the Venetian Macau. The G2E Asia Visionary Award recognizes leaders who have contributed to the success and expansion of the thriving Asian gaming entertainment market.

This Visionary Award recognizes Stanley Ho's key-role in Macau's gaming market growth and success. Paulo Azevedo said Stanley Ho has shaped Macau, helped the infrastructure growth, being at the same time the second largest employer after the government. Ho expressed his gratitude for the award in a video message and said he was honoured to be awarded the G2E Asia Visionary Award. This award affirms what he has done over the years for Macau's gaming business and for the overall community.

G2E Asia is the largest gaming event in Asia. It was first held in 2007 in Macau, organised by Reed Exhibitions and the American Gaming Association (AGA).


由美國博彩協會及勵展博覽集團聯合主辦的2009亞洲國際博彩博覽會（G2E Asia）將於今年6月3日至4日在澳門舉行。 G2E Asia是亞洲區內所舉行的最大型的博彩博覽會, 往年有來自27個國家180多個展商參展, 吸引來自世界各地超過5000個商貿觀眾。

主辦單位披露博覽會今年獲得卓越遠見成就獎得主 - 澳門賭王何鴻燊。 何鴻燊將會在展覽會開幕當日獲頒獎項並發表主題演講。 主辦單位認為何鴻燊博士是國際博彩業的先鋒和領袖, 他的名字在亞洲博彩娛樂事業中極具代表性。 他見證了博彩市場的蓬勃發展, 並擁有豐富的經驗。 美國博彩業協會總裁兼首席執行官Frank J. Fahrenkopf, Jr亦在早前錄製的影像中表示, 何博士的企業家精神和專業知識, 為澳門博彩業的發展奠定了穩固的基礎, 期待他在博覽會開幕日獲得頒獎後的主題演講中發表其見解。 何鴻燊在較早的錄影中表示很榮幸獲頒G2E卓越遠見成就獎, 認為這個獎紀錄了他過去對推動澳門博彩業及經濟發展所付出的努力。 他稱取諸社會, 用諸社會, 能夠履行自己對社會的責任, 帶給了他很大的快樂和滿足。

前身是亞洲博彩博覽會的亞洲國際博彩博覽會（G2E Asia）, 是一個面向亞洲博彩市場的國際性博彩展覽及研討會。 首屆博覽會於2007年6月舉行, 成為亞洲博彩娛樂業首屈一指的盛會。

亞洲博彩博覽會所設的“G2E Asia 卓越遠見成就獎”, 旨在表揚為亞洲博彩娛樂業發展作出重大貢獻的領袖。 獎項自去年創設, 首次頒獎予已故雲頂集團始創人林梧桐。
