2009 Miss Macau will take place at Venetian next month - 2009澳門小姐選舉下月舉行 (2009澳门小姐选举下月举行)

Organised by G&L Group and S.I. Promotions, supported by the Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) and CellCast. This year the Miss Macau final pageant will take place again at the Venetian’s Cotai Arena on October 17. Candidate applications were closed on the 19th September, the organiser is currently going to select just ten to go through to the final stage of the pageant.

Miss Macau 2008 Florence Loi and Anna Kuan Barroso, 1st Runner-up, Cherry Ng - 2nd Runner-up of Miss Macau 2008, with Vanessa Chan were presented during the presentation of Miss Macau 2009 pageant held on the 22nd September.

This edition of Miss Macau pageant's grand final will be broadcasted live on TDM and produced by Hong Kong’s TVB, who will also broadcast the pageant in Hong Kong.


“澳門小姐選舉2009”於澳門威尼斯人度假村舉行發布會。 今屆選美將於10月17日晚在路氹城威尼斯人渡假村舉行, 今屆共吸引約一百人參加。 經主辦單位篩選後, 經初選選出二十人。 大會將再面試, 決賽當晚將有十位佳麗角逐冠軍寶座。 今屆澳門小姐已於本月十九日截止報名。 今年的得獎佳麗將會代表澳門參加國際小姐、國際中華小姐及其他國際性選美盛事。

記者會上，應屆港姐李姿敏、熊穎詩、袁嘉敏、黃嘉麗及2008港姐冠軍陳倩揚, 聯同2008澳門小姐冠軍呂蓉茵、亞軍關安娜、季軍伍家怡及「友誼小姐」陳小玉等分別分享其參賽經驗, 認為參賽過程最重要是笑容和輕鬆面對, 可將評判當作是朋友, 這樣就可減少緊張。 澳門旅遊局副相信本屆澳門小姐能再次將國際焦點聚焦澳門, 希望候選佳麗展現澳門女性氣質。

2008澳門小姐冠軍呂蓉茵表示, 過去一年當選體驗既難得又享受，在親善活動和國際選美中接觸到不少人，學到很多東西，包括待人處事態度等，獲益良多。過去一年亦見證了澳門另一個美麗傳說，希望今屆佳麗可繼續推廣。
