AirAsia will commence a new flight route to Penang starting from the 1st March. The new Macau-Penang route will arrive to Macau on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 10:05am, and will depart on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 5:40pm.

Air Asia will resume flights to Kota Kinabalu and Kuching from 1st March. Furthermore, the airline will increase the frequency of flights to Kuala Lumpur to four daily flights from 1st March, and four daily flights to Bangkok from 29th March.

亞洲航空於3月1日起增開航班及航點。 澳門國際機場表示亞航這一決定無疑給澳門機場帶來了新的活力。

亞洲航空新增的航班安排如下：

1) 澳門至馬來西亞檳城
亞航將開設由澳門飛往馬來西亞檳城的航線, 自澳門起飛的時間是每星期二、四、六的下午5點40分。 抵達澳門的時間為每星期一、三、五和週日下午的6點15分。

2) 澳門至馬來西亞亞庇
由澳門飛往亞庇的起飛時間為每星期二、四、六的下午1點30分, 抵澳的時間則為每星期一、三、五和週日上午的10點05分。

3) 澳門至馬來西亞古晉
由澳門飛古晉的時間為逢一、三、五、日上午10時30分, 抵澳時間為星期二、四、六下午的1時。

4) 增加澳門往吉隆坡和曼谷的班次
亞航還會增加由澳門往吉隆坡和曼谷的班次。 3月1日起亞洲航空將恢復每天4班往吉隆坡, 3月29日將恢復每天4個往返曼谷的航班。

AIRASIA, an airline company based in Malaysia will launch its new international route from Macau to Penang, Penang to Macau starting from March 1 this year.

There will be 4 direct weekly flights operates from Penang to Macau, and 3 direct weekly flights from Macau to Penang, said in a statement from Air Asia.

Additional flights to Macau include:
*Kota Kinabalu-Macau - Reinstate the service
*Kuching-Macau - Reinstate the service
*Kuala Lumpur-Macau - Increase frequency to 4 flights daily, AirAsia currently has 3 daily flights from Kuala Lumpur to Macau.

AirAsia will also resume its Kota Kinabalu-Macau and Kuching-Macau routes effective 01-Mar-09.

“We are pleased to reinstate flights from East Malaysia to Macau, as we recognize there is a strong demand for the routes. Meanwhile the new Kota Kinabalu-Sibu route will further enhance connectivity between the two commercial centres in East Malaysia.”

Air Asia terminate flights to Macau 亞航取消馬來西亞往來澳門三條航線 (亚航取消马来西亚往来澳门叁条航线)

The first budget airline operated in Macau - Air Asia, was terminated its direct flights from Johor Bahru at the beginning of October. The airline will terminate its Kuching and Senai to Macau flight by the end of this month.

"I cannot comment on the matter before finding out what prompted the move by Air- Asia," state Tourism, Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Committee chairman Hoo Seong Chang said.

The airline will cut flights between Macau to Bangkok and Macau to Kuala Lumpur, from four times per day to three.

首家在澳門國際機場經營低成本航線, 每天有廿多個航班往返澳門的亞洲航空公司, 宣佈短期內取消三條馬來西亞往來澳門航線, 曼谷和吉隆玻兩條往返澳門航線亦會縮減班次。 亞洲航空公司表示十月和十一月為旅遊淡季, 待旅遊淡季後, 視乎客況再研究會否重開。 亞洲航空公司曾多次強調珠三角除澳門有開闢航線, 鄰近香港、深圳、廣州都開闢了低成本航線, 部分航線更與澳門重疊。

亞洲航空公司10月開始首先取消了澳門 - 柔佛巴魯的往返航線, 10月26日再取消澳門往來古晉和亞庇兩條航線。

澳門/曼谷和澳門/吉隆玻兩條客量相對較為穩定的航線, 將由每日四班減至每日三班。

AirAsia launch Kuching-Macau route on Nov 15 亞洲航空新航線 : 澳門 - 古晉 (亚洲航空新航线 : 澳门 - 古晋)

Low-cost carrier AirAsia will begin its new Kuching-Macau daily flight on Nov 15 this year. This will be the first international connection from Sarawak. Manager of AirAsia Shanmugamnathan Suppiah said the carrier would add more flights if there was more demand from travellers.
