Golden Month Charity Wine Auction at Venetian Macau 澳門金沙名酒慈善拍賣會 (澳门金沙名酒慈善拍卖会)

In celebration of Sands 6th Anniversary a charity wine auction will be held at the Sands Ballroom (4th floor) on 31st May 2010.

Featuring historic collections including Imperial Lafite Rothschild 1982 and Magnum Chateau Petrus 1959, 3% of the total sales premium from the night, will be donated to charity through the ILCM non-profit organization.

The night will include: Dinner, Wine and “Live Auction”, with online bidding also available via http://www.spectrumwine.com/

Macau Fisherman’s Wharf is going to bring you the 2nd phrase of 'International Cultural Food Festival 2009 - Beer, Wine & Seafood Festival', feast spotlighting on beer and wine cultures, from November 13 -22, 2009 at 16:00 to 22:00. The festival will features series of decent beers and wines from all over the world, fresh seafood from Australia and New Zealand, and various delicious cuisine.

Wine Taste Dinner and Seminar, presented by renowned chefs Mr. Tony Bullot and Mr. Patrick Périé, has been arranged on November 13, 14 and 19, 2009 at Vic’s Café in Rocks Hotel. It is a great opportunity for sovouring fine delicacies with quality wines, as well as receiving the guest chefs’ experience sharing. A variety of vintages from Portugal, German, China, Hong Kong and Macau will be showcased at Campo Maior (Lisbon II) on November 13-15th and 20-22th 2009, 18:00 – 21:00.

Vinum Fine Wine Merchants opens a new branch in Macau

Vinum Fine Wine Merchants from Singapore, is expanding aggressively into the region with a new branch in Macau open recently at the Four Seasons Shoppes.

It was attractive for the company to open a branch in Macau, with the wine tax rate of only 15 per cent and potential offered by a unique casino retail environment with a steady stream of wealthy mainland clients.

'Opening in Macau seemed like a good bet, pardon the pun,' says Mr Tay. After Hong Kong abolished wine taxes in February this year.' Vinum's executive director Jason Tay said. Vinum was excited about operating in a market with a high level of wine appreciation and collection.

Vinum Fine Wine Merchants was started in November 1995, a year after Les Amis opened.
