The Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) & Muay Thai Grand Extreme is the first major-scale martial arts event offered by City of Dreams, which joined Kontact and I-1 Official in bringing this event to Macau was held at the Grand Ballroom, Grand Hyatt Macau at
City of Dreams on November 7, 2009. An excited crowd of spectators turned up to enjoy actions from four MMA matches, three Muay Thai Super Fights, three Muay Thai Asian Championship (4-man elimination tournament) and one K-1 Asian Championship.

Tum Mardsue of Thailand gave his best and defeated 1st runner-up Vuyisile Colossa to win the championship, earning the honor to participate in The King’s Cup Super-8 2009 in Thailand next month.

URCC Tournament- MMA, also known as mixed martial arts.is an all new type of sport that has become a favorite in many countries. The UFC - best-known as the Ultimate Fighting Championship - is the largest presenter for MMA and holds several fights for them every year with countless fighters. Even a few top fighters from boxing are trying MMA.

MMA combines the art of several distinct types of martial arts for fighters to utilize. In one fight you can have the power to see fighters utilizing wrestling, judo, muaythai, kickboxing, and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. The MMA combatants will struggle it out using techniques from these distinct forms of fighting inside the ring. The only way to win is to knock out the opponent, force them to tap out employing a submission, or to succeed by the decision of the judges.

The Art of War Fighting Championship is China's premier martial arts tournament. This year’s “Ground Zero” competition at The Venetian Macao® features 12 action-packed bouts of mixed martial arts from the world's top fighters.

Norwegian fighter Simeon Thoresen goes up against Brazilian standout Michael Costa on the main fight card*. Thoresen is the protégé of Dream and Pride superstar, Joachim "Hellboy" Hansen. Costa is now training under MMA legend Wanderlei Silva. This match-up will prove to be one of the evening's best.

Also on the fight card is 2008 World Jiu-jitsu Champion, Antonio Braga Neto of Brazil versus the extremely dangerous Rodney Glunder of Holland. 《英雄榜》14絕地英豪綜合搏擊賽是中國首個職業綜合武術搏擊賽事。今年的“Ground Zero”對抗賽將於澳門威尼斯人®震撼登場，世界搏擊高手雲集上演12場武術搏擊賽，定必惡斗連場。

The Challenger at Venetian Macau 澳門威尼斯人挑戰者拳王爭霸 (澳门威尼斯人挑战者拳王争霸 )

The Challenger is set to be the most significant fight event ever hosted in Macau, with many of the worlds Greatest Muay Thai fighters taking to the ring.

Fighters from all corners of the globe including China, Holland, Hong Kong, Japan, Germany and the USA will come head to head.

The Challenger will feature the FIRST Sino-Japan 4-men tournament (welter-weight) and for the FIRST time in Macau, an 8-men tournament (open-weight). K-1 Max favorites will go head to head, under a same night elimination structure against Chinese favorites, including hometown boy HEUNG 'bomber' PAK WING who will be entered into season 2 of 'CONTENDER ASIA' if he manages to pack the punches against his Japanese opponents.

澳門威尼斯人綜合館舉行將在二零零八年一月二十六日為澳門帶來首場國際重量級拳賽「重量級拳王爭霸賽─格鬥直擊」。「重量級拳王爭霸賽─格鬥直擊」是首個在澳門舉行的重量拳擊大賽，拳擊界兩位風雲人物(Ray Mercer - 1988年漢城奧運超重量級金牌冠軍）及(Derric Rossy - 紐約冠軍和WBF世界冠軍）將展開一場萬眾矚目的爭霸戰。

除了兩位重量級拳王爭霸賽之外，活動舉行期間亦會進行多場其他賽事包括澳門拳擊隊與香港拳擊隊的51公斤（112磅）級、60公斤（132磅）級、64公斤（140磅）級對壘賽，以及由美國頂尖拳擊手對中國頂尖拳擊手的女子中量級較量拳賽。
