Macau tower is one of the tallest structure in the world. It measures 338 m in height from ground level to the highest point. It is own by the Sociedade de Turismo e Diversões de Macau (STDM). Tower facilities include an observation deck with panoramic views, restaurants, theaters, shopping malls and the Skywalk X.

A J Hackett broke his own Guinness World Record at Macau Tower for "The Highest Bungee Jump from a Building" achieved in 1987 from the Eiffel Tower.

由CCMBeca負責設計的澳門旅遊塔會展娛樂中心, 建築工程由1998年6月展開。 旅遊塔的設計包括混凝土豎井及斜型支柱組成, 並包括支持整個觀景層、旋轉餐廳及咖啡室的結構。 塔樓的頂部是高達90米的鋼質天線塔, 裝置有通訊天線為鄰近地區提供最具效率的微波傳送。 整個設計並包括強力泛光燈、鐳射激光、頻閃燈及電腦控制的燈光系統, 可營造出壯觀的燈光效果。

會展娛樂中心的部份包括一個大型的露天廣場及旅遊車泊車處、店舖、咖啡室、餐廳、展覽及會議設施及可容納500人的劇院。 整個建築設計充分突出了中心所提供的各項獨特設施及臨海的優越位置, 而且採用了花崗岩、雲石、不銹鋼、鋅及鋁等高質素建築材料, 組合成這壯觀的建築。
