Macao Tower was successfully launched “bungy jumping”.
Aj Hackett, pioneer of modern “bungy jumping” and the current Guinness world record holder of the highest bungy jump from building structure, was in a bid to challenge his second record here in Macau. Hundreds of people cheered up to Hackett when he landed safely.
“It was great to jump here in Macao." Hackett told the crowd on his landing. While questioned on how he felt in the sky, hesaid, “clean, smooth, and in one word, great. “You must jump before reporting, ” Hackett suggested the media workers chuckling.
He set the previous record of bungy jump in 1998 when he fell through 180m from the Sky Tower in Auckland, New Zealand.

Guinness Record Bungee Jumps
The "father of bungee jumping" and the Hong Kong movie star Edison Chen broke two records when they jumped off the Macau Tower in Hong Kong, Terri Gruca reports (0:46).
