The local Lio brothers will perform with one of the world's most revered chamber orchestras - the Camerata Salzburg at Macau Cultural Center on the 18th Jan.

Widely regarded as one of Europe's leading chamber ensembles, the Camerata Salzburg has gained a formidable reputation thanks to its signature sound. The Orchestra has established itself as a legitimate portrayer of the Austrian composer's - Mozart music through its superior quality concerts.

Lio Kuok Man, top prize winner of the 6th Mauro Paolo Monopoli International Piano Competition, and younger brother Lio Kuok Wai, gold prize winner of the 6th International Chopin Piano Competition of Asia, were both awarded the Commendation of Merit by the Chief Executive of the Macau SAR in 2004.

In addition to performing with the Lio brothers, Camerata Salzburg will performs Mozart's 'Double Piano Concerto in F major', 'Divertimento in D major', Schoenberg's Waltzes for String Orchestra and Haydn's 'Symphony No. 52 in C minor' in a bicentenary commemoration of the gifted composer's death.

作為澳門文化中心十周年第一響, 《澳門廖氏兄弟與薩爾斯堡室樂團》將於2009年1月18日晚上八時於澳門文化中心綜合劇院送上一場精彩絕倫的音樂會。

繼承了維也納古典樂風, 奧地利薩爾斯堡室樂團是當今頂尖的室內樂團, 多次演奏奧地利著名音樂家莫札特（Mozart）作品。 今次亦不例外地演奏莫札特《F大調雙鋼琴協奏曲》, 《D大調嬉遊曲》, 以及荀伯克（Schoenberg）為弦樂隊創作的圓舞曲、海頓（Haydn）《C小調第五十二交響曲》。

澳門鋼琴之子廖國敏曾摘取「第六屆意大利馬諾保羅‧摩諾波利國際鋼琴大賽」首獎, 弟弟廖國瑋曾取得「第六屆亞洲蕭邦國際鋼琴大賽」金獎, 他倆更於2004年獲澳門行政長官頒授功績獎狀。
