City of Dreams announced that Television Broadcast Limited (TVB), is to host its first ever anniversary celebration outside Hong Kong, at City of Dreams, providing Macau with a glamorous and star-filled night with almost a hundred artists and celebrities.

All Singers For TVB Anniversary 2009, the TVB 42nd anniversary celebration, takes place on October 30 at the Grand Hyatt Macau at City of Dreams. This year, the celebratory show honors the music history of Hong Kong from 1967 to 2009 in a salute to all music and singers in the past 42 years.

Andre Agassi shares a light moment with Pete Sampras during a friendly exhibition


Former world number one Pete Sampras beat long-time rival Andre Agassi at the Venetian Macao Tennis Showdown 2009. This is the first time the two had played since Sampras won in the 2002 U.S. Open final for his then-record 14th Grand Slam. Sampras led their head-to-head 20 to 14.

The match was first preceded by a 45 mins timed encounter between junior no.1 Yuki Bhambri and America's leading junior Ryan Harrison.

Playing in front of 11,000 enthusiastic fans strong crowd at the CotaiArena, Sampras lost the first set 3-6, but rallied to take the second 6-3 and then finished off Agassi in 10-8 tie-breaker. The pair played against each other 34 times in their professional careers.

The two former No. 1s have 124 career titles and 22 Grand Slams - Agassi has eight and Sampras 14. Agassi is one of only 6 men to have won all four majors and also won Olympic gold in Atlanta in 1996. Sampras' 14 Slams was a record until Federer won Wimbledon this year.

To mark the 120th anniversary of its logo, Longines has created two limited series of watches, under the designation Longines Heritage Retrograde (limited edition 120), each numbered from 1 to 120, as a fitting tribute to a logo that has been protected since 1889.

[Property News] Mace to deliver Macau's first green residential development

Mace Group has won a project management appointment on a luxury residential development for client Guia Hill (Macau) Investments Limited, a joint venture between Macquarie Real Estate and VC Group. This follows an appointment to carry out a due diligence report of the project site and demonstrates Mace Group's continued work in the region.

The US$32m scheme comprises 30 luxury apartments over six storeys and a mix of public and private space on the roof including pools and landscaped decking. Car parking will be provided at basement and ground level. The client aims to delivery luxury to an international standard and the building has also been designed to the highest environmental standards such that it will be eligible for gold standard accreditation for its 'green' credentials. If successful, Guia Hill will be the first residential project in Macau to receive formal environmental accreditation reflecting the increased awareness of sustainability issues amongst its target market of mainland Chinese.

As project manager, Mace is responsible for the procurement and management of the consultant team, developing and managing the master programme, managing the design, procurement of the works and management of the construction process until handover. Work got underway in October 2009 and is due for completion in early 2011.

This role follows a previous appointment to carry out a due diligence report of the project site.

Macau Peninsula is a special administrative region (SAR) of China, approx 60km west of Hong Kong and Mace secured the role thanks to its local knowledge gained in the successful delivery of the Venetian resort and casino and other major projects in the region.

The Philippines Department of Trade and Industry, Philippine Consulate-General in Macau and Macau Trade and Investment Promotion Institute jointly held "The Philippines: Your Business Destination and Gateway to ASEAN" seminar.

The Consul-General of the Philippines in Macau said that, through the participation in the activities of the MIF, it is hoped that the economic relationship of their country with Macau will be further straightened. During the seminar, a memorandum of understanding was signed between IPIM and the Department of Trade and Industry of the Philippines for the establishment of partnership between MIF and Manila F.A.M.E. to mutually fairs and conventions, as a mean to develop the MICE industry in both territories.

Secretary for Economy and Finance of Macao SAR, Dr. Francis Tam Pak Yuen was present at the seminar "Vietnam-Macau Opportunities for Investment and Trade", jointly organized by the Consulate of Vietnam in Hong Kong SAR and Macau SAR, Vietnam Quang Ninh Provincial People's Communities and Macau Trade and Investment Promotion Institute.

Speaking at the seminar, Secretary Tam said that Vietnam is one of the members of ASEAN and an important partner of Macau in the fostering of relationship with the member-countries of ASEAN. He said that there has been a further reinforcement of the trade and economic relationship between Vietnam and Macau in recent years and hoped that through this seminar, said cooperation would be further deepened and developed.

Representatives of the Consulate-General of Vietnam in Hong Kong and Macau, Finance Department of the Vietnam Government and Vietnam Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee made a presentation on Vietnam and the policy adopted by the country in the attraction of foreign investment for industrial development.

Viva Macau Airlines announces direct Macau - Melbourne direct flights to commence from 9th December 2009. The new Viva Macau low fare Economy and Premium Class flights between Macau and Melbourne will depart Macau at 20:15 and 10:15 arriving in Melbourne at 8:45 and 19:10. Flights from Melbourne will depart at 9:45 and 23:30 arriving in Macau at 22:30 and 6:00.

The 14th Macau International Trade and Investment Fair (MIF) will be held at The Venetian Macau from 22nd to 25th this month. The event is an economic and trade exhibition to promote international co-operation and exchange in investment and trade, as well as a prestigious annual event among the business sectors in Macau.

This year’s the MIF will focus on Macau’s economic diversity and present Macau’s achievements, promote Macau’s investment environment and market dynamics, explore future development and further advance Macau as a trade and economic cooperation service platform. It will take advantage of Macau’s as a positive regional business position, and close ties with the Portuguese speaking countries and internationally.

Over 60 countries and regions from the European Union, Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and Portuguese speaking countries have confirmed their attendance. The event will attract more than 644 local exhibitors and 1,074 international participants, while Russia, Laos, Cambodia, Columbia, Cuba, and Peru are participated for the first time in this international event. The Portuguese speaking countries pavilion will be the largest ever and Taiwan’s pavilion will have its size more than double.

The 2009 Miss Macau pageant was held on the 17th October at the Venetian Macau. This year, the pageant was again broadcasted live by Teledifusao de Macau (TDM) and aired to Hong Kong by TVB Jade and HD Jade. A variety of unique performances were performed by the 10 contestants competed in the evening event. However, only 6 contestants went through to the second round, these contestants then had to go through judges questions and decided who will stay in the top 3.

At the end, Laura Li was crowned this year's Miss Macau. She is also expected to represent Macau and participate in the Miss International 2009 pageant. Australian-born Miss Macau 2009 competitor Sarah Leyshan, was elected 2nd and the new Miss Friendship. 3rd place went to Joyce Huang - who was once being considered a potential winner.

Macau Announces first phase of its Light Rail Project 澳門輕軌一期興建方案 (澳门轻轨一期兴建方案)

The Transport Infrastructure Office (GIT) has concluded the analysis on the study of the 1st phase of Macau's lightrail system on the 17th October.

The construction will start in 2010 and the light rails will be put into operation in 2014. The estimated construction cost for Phase 1 (changed from 23 to 21 stations) will put forward a MOP$7.5 billion total cost investment, which was initially proposed at MOP $4.2 billion in the 2007 optimisation plan. The two stations outside the Culture Centre and the government headquarters in Nam Van were removed from the plan, after taking into consideration the distance between each station, the space limitation, the need of commuting and also construction techniques. The increased cost is due to the current raw material prices increase, exchange rates, the passenger capacity upgrade and the adoption of underground tracks. Other complementary facilities such as car parks, bus inter-change stations or transport infrastructure are not included in the investment budget.

The line will run along the elevated guideways, but the section between Nam Van Lake and Sai Van Lake will be run underground. Ridership is predicted to be peak at 14000 passengers per hour by 2020.

輕軌一期興建方案共有21個站, 澳門區的站數為10個, 氹仔及路氹城區的站點數目則維持在11個。 考慮了未來對外及內部交通以及接駁世遺景點保育的關注, 南灣湖、西灣大橋將採用地底車站方式以及西灣湖、媽閣為地底站。 減少輕軌立交對南灣湖畔建築物景觀、綠化區域、古樹和地下設施的影響。 其餘17個站將全部為高架站。 考慮到站點間的距離、空間局限性、出行需要和施工技術等因素, 當局決定取消文化中心和政府總部外的站點, 以提高輕軌的整體效率。 其中關閘及媽閣站將計劃與輕軌二期連接。 關閘、媽閣、賽馬會及蓮花口岸屬於綜合交通轉換站。

輕軌系統預計於2014年投入運作 (若由明年下半年土建工程開始動工計算), 工期約為4年半。 預測輕軌系統由營運初期至2020年於尖峰時段每小時單方向載運量, 將由約8000人次上升至約14200百人次。

The University of Macau Confer Honorary Professorship to Prof. Franco Maloberti - Franco Maloberti獲澳門大學頒榮譽教授 (Franco Maloberti获澳门大学颁荣誉教授)

The University of Macau hold an honorary professorship conferment ceremony in the STDM Auditorium on 15 October, in which an honorary professorship will be conferred upon Prof. Franco Maloberti in recognition of his outstanding contributions in the field of microelectronics. Following the ceremony Prof. Franco Maloberti delivered a speech entitled “Analog Design for Human-Centric Smart Living Technologies”.

Prof. Franco Maloberti is among the three most famous scholars in the world in the field of data conversion and signal processing, especially in integrated circuits design for data converters. He has published over 375 papers in various academic journals and conferences, published four books and his research achievements have resulted in 29 patents. Because of his impressive achievement, he also became the recipient of the 12th Pedriali Prize in 1992 for his technical and scientific contributions to national industrial production. He was co-recipient of the 1996 Institute of Electrical Engineers Fleming Premium, the best Paper award, ESSCIRC-2007, and the best paper award, IEEJ Analog Workshop-2007.

New MOP 50 notes in circulation on November 澳門推新版伍拾圓鈔票 (澳门推新版伍拾圆钞票)

New BNU (Banco Nacional Ultramarino) notes with MOP 50 patacas denomination will be put in circulation from November, in a total amount of MOP $250 million, with a issued date of 8 August 2009.

The new bills feature the Sai Van Bridge, with brown as its dominant colour.
Additional security features were added to increase anti-counterfeiting measures, including holographic windowed security threads, highlight watermark and see-through pattern. The current existing MOP 50 bills are to be gradually replaced by the new ones.

The French driver Arnaud Kozlinski has just won the Super KF World Championship in Macau - the first ever World Karting Championship staging in Asia. Kozlinski dominated the racing world by winning the pre-final in the dry, three days after his 28th birthday, the Frenchman took victory in the final despite rain beginning to fall shortly after the start of the race. Arnaud Kozlinski is also the first French World Champion in the premier class of karting. The race was halted after 75% of the race distance had been covered due to the weather condition. In this race, Aaro Vainio from Finland infiltrated into 2nd position and Manuel Renaudie from UK followed in 3rd position.

Nanning-Macau-Taiwan Route To Be Launched 澳門航空開通南寧-澳門-台北航線 (澳门航空开通南宁-澳门-台北航线)

Guangxi Airport Management Group and Air Macau will launch a route from Nanning to Taiwan via Macau, starting from October 19. Passengers will be able to get their boarding cards for the two legs at Nanning Wuxu International Airport and check their baggage directly to Taiwan, without checking in again in Macau. The total flight time will be around four hours. Passengers will have two optional destinations when flight to Taiwan, they can either choose to stop at Taipei and Kaohsiung. Currently, there will be three flights scheduled each week on this route - Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Each flight will have eight to twelve business class seats to suit the needs of the business people traveling between two places.

Nanning is the capital of Guangxi autonomous region located in the southern part of China. It is known as the "Green City" because of its abundance of lush tropical foliage and pleasant climate all year round.

The world's sixth-largest IPO so far this year - Wynn Macau Ltd, which is part of the Las Vegas-based Wynn Resorts Ltd and headed by Steve Wynn, jumped 13 percent in its stronger than expected trading debut on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on the 9th October. About $1.6 billion was raised during the IPO, which also makes it the second largest IPO so far in Hong Kong this year.

Shares peaked at HK$11.4 in early trading, which is above the IPO price. The share were sold at HK$10.08 each in the initial public offering. The share was closed 6.9% higher on its Hong Kong stock market debut buoyed by expectations for growth in the Chinese gaming industry. Shares of the Wynn Macau Ltd finished at $10.78 on the first day of trading.

Wynn Macau Ltd also marks the first IPO in Hong Kong for a major global brand in years. The Wynn Macau offering comes amid news of record monthly gambling revenue in Macau in August and an easing of restrictions by China on its citizens travelling from Guangdong province to Macau.

"For big-cap IPOs, its performance is pretty good. Its pricing is not cheap but Macau's gaming revenue has been rising and that helped boost confidence," said Peter Pak, vice-president at BOCI Research. Wynn Macau Ltd stronger-than-expected will paves the way for listing by rival Las Vegas Sands later this year.

City of Dreams and Hyatt Hotels & Resorts recently opened Grand Hyatt Macau to the public. This new hotel is focused on the leisure customer and business traveler.

Approaching Grand Hyatt Macau, guests are greeted by hotel hosts and guided into the vast lobby, with its staggering, six-storey, approximately 22-meter high ceiling. Water cascades over a giant stainless steel hemisphere, while above it, curved ribbons of stainless steel shower down from an illuminated cloud motif in the ceiling.

For guests, this eye-catching assemblage is just a taste of the aesthetic and spatial drama to follow. Strikingly high ceilings and an abundance of glass and natural daylight feature throughout the contemporary hotel, creating an exceptionally spacious, luxurious atmosphere.

Above the entrance area, the entire second level of the hotel is dedicated to event space. The colossal, pillar-less Grand Ballroom with its approximately eight-meter high ceiling, can accommodate approximately 2,500 people in a theater style and approximately 1,500 people for a banquet style. The Grand Ballroom can also easily divide into four soundproof sections, each with individual control rooms.

Next door, Salão do Teatro is equally impressive. Translating as „show theater‟ in Portuguese, Salão do Teatro is the first event space of its kind, featuring an open show kitchen capable of accommodating up to 50 chefs at a time, and is the only ballroom in Macau blessed that offers natural daylight.

For more informal events, the Pool Deck on Level 3 is an ideal alfresco location and one of the largest outdoor events venues in Macau. Centered around an approximately 40-meter aqua green-tiled swimming pool, the Pool Deck features a stylish water lounge that submerges loungers in shallow water, eight private VIP cabanas and expansive landscaped gardens that can cater a barbecue for up to 500 guests. Adjacent to the Pool Deck is Poolside, an additional outdoor dining area that can accommodate to up to 120 guests.

For its two main restaurants, Grand Hyatt Macau has been inspired by two award-winning eateries in its sister hotels. Beijing Kitchen on Level 1 replicates the highly successful format of Grand Hyatt Beijing‟s Made in China restaurant, and is one of the signature restaurants at City of Dreams. Open 24 hours, the 225-seat restaurant offers indoor and outdoor dining and specialises in authentic Northern Chinese fare.

Meanwhile, mezza9 Macau on Level 3, has been inspired by the famous mezza9 at Grand Hyatt Singapore and focuses on South-East Asian fare with an international influence. Created by the cutting edge Japanese interior design firm SuperPotato, the space is defined by giant roughly-hewn granite blocks creating counters and lining walls, as well as an array of lattice-patterned screens.

At the heart of the hotel is the Lobby Lounge, which comprises two separate components. Beneath the sweeping staircase, a 118-seat wine and champagne bar with live music and is the ideal gathering venue. Meanwhile, in the main lobby itself—highlighted by a striking cluster of burnt orange pendant lights—a coffee bar and patisserie specializes in traditional Portuguese egg tarts, as well as pastries, cakes and homemade chocolates.

Those who prefer to unwind at a more leisurely pace may prefer Isala Spa. Spread over approximately 25,000 square-foot (2,323 square meters), Isala Spa includes 15 treatment rooms and suites, six of which are designed for couples. Each spa suite includes a private bathroom and the majority feature natural daylight. Elsewhere in the spa, guests can indulge themselves in whirlpools, steam rooms and freeze showers. There is also a dedicated foot massage room overlooking private landscaped gardens.

The 2009 CIK-FIA World Karting Championship, is set to take place between October 8 and October 11 at the Kartodromo in Coloane. This will be the 46th edition of the World Championship and the first to be held on the Asian Continent, where fans across Asia can watch the potential Formula One champions in action. A total of 170 karters from 20 countries and regions will take part in the event. The event will also includes numerous support races as part of the 2009 Macau International Kart Grand Prix.

All three of last year's CIK-FIA World Karting Championship podium finishers will make the trip to Macau, with reigning champion Marco Ardigò (ITA) seeking a third consecutive crown. Libro Toman (CZE) and Gary Catt (GBR), who placed second and third respectively in 2008 will also take part of the event. Two-time Macau Karting Champion João Afonso - will become the first Macau karter to compete at the pinnacle of the sport.

CIK-FIA世界小型賽車錦標賽將首次移師亞洲舉行, 澳門將於今年10月8日至11日主辦這項全球矚目的大賽。 這也是賽事舉辦４６屆以來首次登陸亞洲。 來自20個國家及地區的170位世界小型賽車頂尖年輕小型賽車好手將雲集澳門路環小型賽車場。 兩屆澳門小型賽車錦標賽冠軍得主方約翰(Joao Afonso), 將於主場第一次參與世界級賽事, 是首名參與最高級小型賽車比賽的澳門車手。

小型賽車運動地位最高的賽事CIK-FIA世界小型賽車錦標賽, 曾協助冼拿、舒密加、咸姆頓及古碧加等一級方程式車手賽車巨星展開賽車事業。

亞洲小型賽車公開錦標賽的各項比賽也會同期舉行。 來自9個國家及地區的112位車手會參加各項支援賽, 其中17位是澳門車手。

The International Cultural & Food Festival 2009 澳門漁人碼頭國際文化美食節 (澳门渔人码头国际文化美食节)

The International Cultural & Food Festival 2009 held at Macau Fisherman’s Wharf, will continue for four months until Jan 24 and feature themes from various cultures, countries and regions. This is the longest cultural & food fare series ever held in Macau. This edition of ICFF will take guests on 4 themed journeys and introduce them with fascinating cuisines, beer and wines, arts, crafts and many more interesting activities from different regions of the world. Guests can also experience ethnic cultures through dance and musical shows performed by professional dancers and bands during the festival.

The first themed event - 'Greater China' (1 to 11 October), will presents provincial food from China and a live band.


澳門漁人碼頭宣佈於2009年10月1日至2010年1月舉行馬拉松式的“國際文化美食節”, 每個月都有不同的主題。 這是澳門歷來舉辦時間最長之文化美食節。

The Macau International Music Festival attracts internationally renowned artists from all over the world to perform in Macau. More than half of this year's program - comprising opera, Chinese classical music, passionate Latin American tempos, New York fusion et al, will be performed in World Heritage-listed Historic Centre of Macau sites such as Dom Pedro V Theatre, St. Dominic's Church and Mount Fortress from 9th October to the 8th November.

Guests will be able to enjoy the atmospheric music from so many genres than in the timeless surroundings of Macau's unique architecture.

2009 Oktoberfest at MGM Grand Macau 澳門最大型德國啤酒節 (澳门最大型德国啤酒节)

Organised by the Macau Government Tourist Office, German Consulate General and German-Macau Business Association, the MGM Grand Macau is to host a nine day long fun-filled celebration of Oktoberfest this year from 9-17 October. Guests will be able to enjoy plenty of original Paulaner Oktoberfest beer, German food and wine specialities, the best roasted pork knuckles and live music by an authentic German band - the “Högel Fun BAND”. Traditional sizzling bratwurst will be served by traditionally dressed staff.

The celebration of Oktoberfest can be traces back to 1810 in Germany, where all the citizens of Munich were invited to attend festivities held on fields before the city gates and to celebrate the royal wedding.

An anti-drugs music event organised by Revolution Entertainment, which sends messages about drugs problems towards the youths of Macau through singing and dance performances, as well as some motivational speakers, from various countries and regions.

It was first began as a local indoor music concert in 2007. Last year, the organizers brought in several bands, artists and speakers from overseas including Australian idol finalist Tarisai Vushe, Indonesian movie star Pierre Roland, as well as TVB’s Corinna Chamberlain and The Vine Band from Hong Kong.

The 2009/2010 edition of The Miele Guide was officially launched on 30 September 2009 at Singapore. This edition delivered its second rankings of Asia’s 20 best restaurants and the staggering 450 restaurants that made into this year’s guide were revealed, based on four rounds of judging and involves journalists, food writers, professionals in the industry and members of the public. Macau's "Robuchon a Galera", belongs to Parisian chef Joel Robuchon who named the chef of the 20th century, ranked third this year on the list.

頂級美食指南的《The Miele Guide》剛選出亞洲二十大最佳餐廳, 澳門有1間餐廳入選, 以法國菜馳名的Robuchon a Galera佔第3位。

這二十間餐廳的名次經過四輪評選產生, 評選者包括當地本土食評家, 務求更能反映亞洲人口味。 除了食物質素、餐廳環境等因素外, 亞洲人口味也是評選的重要考慮。

飲食指南《The Miele Guide》2008年由德國廚房品牌Miele創辦。 本年度的指南中介紹了亞洲十八個國家和地區共四百五十間優秀食肆。

The 21st Macau International Fireworks Display Contest has ended with a ceremony held at the Macau Tower Convention and Entertainment Center on October 1. Tamaya Art Pyro Technics from Japan netted the top prize, while Italy’s La Tirrena Fireworks and Philippines’s Platinum Fireworks, Inc. took second and third places. Cash prize to the winner is US$8,000, while prizes to the first and second runners-up are US$4,000 and US$2,500 respectively.

The contest this year featured ten teams from Spain, Korea, Taiwan, France, Italy, the Philippines, Japan, Portugal, Austria and China. Austria team is the first time who joined this year event, with veterans from Chinese Taiwan, Japan and Korean.

The participating teams this year again is requested to complement their display with music. Each team used different kinds of music, ranging from classical or folk music to contemporary music, coupled with special themes and features to enthrall the audience.


第21屆澳門國際煙花比賽匯演完滿結束, 來自日本的球屋北原煙火店奪冠。 亞軍及季軍分別由意大利–La Tirrena 煙花公司及菲律賓–白金煙花公司的煙花隊奪得。 冠軍隊伍獎金為八千美元、亞軍和季軍的獎金分別是四千美元和二千五百美元。

The finalists were announced at a press conference held at the Venetian on the 29th September. Only 10 of the most talented and beautiful were selected out of the 20 contestants at the trials. These ten young women went to work immediately for their first press conference, where they presented and posed gracefully in front of the photographers and video cameras with confidence and poise.


2009澳門小姐10月17日在威尼斯人金光綜藝館舉行。 10位候選佳麗將角逐澳門小姐榮銜。 主辦單位9月29日在威尼斯人舉行記者會, 安排10位候選佳麗以最優美姿態首次與傳媒會晤, 特別邀得2008年澳門小姐冠軍呂蓉茵、亞軍關安娜、季軍伍家怡及友誼小組陳小玉分享參選經驗及心得。 10位佳麗大部分是應屆畢業生或現職大學生, 其餘為兼職模特兒、電視節目主持、文員及公關經理。 年齡由21至25五歲。

本屆十位候選佳麗分別有：
1號黃斯敏、2號淩慕媛、3號張綺敏、4號葉沛文、5號冼韻怡、6號楊雯、7號朱一丹、8號李雪娜、9號陳轉梅及10號李若瀅。

澳門電視廣播有限公司及無線電視將於下月17日晚上分別現場直播及轉播'2009澳門小姐', 讓澳門、香港及海外觀眾見証新一屆澳門小姐的誕生。

TDM will launch new TV channels 澳廣視推出4條新頻道 (澳广视推出4条新频道)

TDM - one of Macau's TV broadcaster, will launch a satellite television channel on October 1. To represent Macau in all its diversity, the broadcaster will introduce three new channels and plans to develop existing channels, in particular the English TDM News which will serve as a platform between China, Portuguese speaking countries and expatriated Chinese.

TDM-Macau Satellite will provide audiences with news reports in Cantonese, Mandarin, Portuguese and English. The new satellite TV channel is delivered via AsiaSat5 to the Asia-Pacific region.

TDM will also extend the English news to 30 minutes and it will start with some local production, such as interviews and talk shows in English, so that people around the world can know more about Macau and what’s happening in Macau.

TDM will begin transmitting CCTV News on an individual TV channel on October 1. There will also be another channel that TDM will re-broadcast, the CCTV News channel, and a 24 hour news channel in Mandarin which will bring world news to the Macau people. TDM will also start two local TV channels, ‘TDM Sport’ and ‘TDM Life’, showcasing international and local sport events, as well as local lifestyle and community issues to residents using local productions.


澳廣視將在10月相繼推出4條新頻道。 這4條新頻道是“澳門衛視”、“澳視新聞”、“澳視體育”和“澳視生活”。

澳廣視在10月1日推出首個衛星電視頻道「澳門衛視」, 將通過亞洲5號衛星傳送到各地。 而新增的三個地面數碼發射電視頻道, 其中一個獨立頻道會24小時轉播中央電視台新聞頻道, 將與「澳門衛視」同日推出。 而另外兩個地面數字頻導 - 「澳視體育」會先在10月9日推出, 「澳視生活」就會在10月26號推出。
